Description
BioCEN - Centre for Innovative Bioscience Education (which changed its name from Science Festival School in 2010) was established in 2002.
The aim of the BioCEN is to reduce the gap between science and society and popularize biology by conducting educational activities and providing educational materials. All activities are focused on improving biology education in Poland and awareness of the latest biology achievements.

We develop and supply schools with innovative equipment and materials such as: experimental kits, practical protocols, classroom activities, games etc. We also contribute to public events popularizing science such as Warsaw Science Festival, Science Picnic, etc.
Currently BioCEN is supported by: International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAN, Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAN, Faculty of Biology University of Warsaw, Warsaw Science Festival and BioEducation Foundation.
