Description

The Fraunhofer-Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT is a member of the Fraunhofer Information and Communication Technology Group and focuses on a user-oriented view of technology. The research group on Life Science Informatics is one of five groups in the institute. It has a long tradition of  interdisciplinary work for and with healthcare and life science professionals. It currently focuses on high content analysis for translational and pharma research, molecular diagnostics and patient monitoring big data and data integration. The Life Science Informatics group collaborates with several university hospitals. Contract research is performed for clients from biotech and pharma, as well as other industrial partners.
